For the past 50 years this friendly club has nurtured sailing on Emmarentia Dam teaching newcomers, coaching more experienced sailors and ecouraging members to enjoy sailing either as a relaxrd family recreation or in serious competion nationwide.

The clubhouse is open every Saturday & Sunday throughout the season. The season runs from August to May.

The 1st Greenside Scout Group is based in Emmarentia. When it was established 57 years ago it was on the site of the present Greenside High School. The Scout Hall is now opposite 48 John MacKenzie Drive, about 500m below the Emmarentia Dam wall. The Group now includes boy and girl cubs and scouts. The cub pack is large and very active so we we are currently needing a woman to assist Paul and Alistair with running it.Contact details below.

The Domestic Workers Watch program is once again up and running.

We appeal to all employers to support Parkview Police in their efforts to combat crime through allowing your employees to attend these hour long mettings. What they learn could saveyour or a neighbour's life.
