Hi Zain,

Thank you for the meeting last night. There are a number of items I would like to touch on.

  1. The houses in Greenway marked for office and parking did not appear on the written part.

  2. I have spent a lot of effort in working out plans for east west links
and want that to remain, but understand that in terms of the current
capital budgeting this will not fall into this year. I will try and contact Ian
Boyd whom you say will be involved. I know him very well and am looking forward
to working with him. On the east west links, when Victory is eased the
intersection on Tana, linden and 3rd Avenue Linden will need remodelling.
Our suggestion is a traffic circle, otherwise we will simply shift the
    problem one block along

  3. That we are going to have to live with the anomaly of a few houses
converted into offices along Barry Hertzog but that we need to enforce the
requirement that they continue to look like residential properties. Those
houses north of Checkers as well as the Chairopracters on the corner of
Barry Hertzog and Gleneagles look barren and are out of keeping with the
rest of the area. We need some clout in preserving trees perhaps and
certainly softening car parks so that they do not stick out like sore
    thumbs.

  4. We understand that the Pirates move across Braeside is not yet ready
for inclusion and needs local participation but would like you to keep it
somewhere on the burner. Plus of course the idea of using the ground thus
    vacated for a retirement village.

I think that the issues relating to Planet Fitness, but the idea of a
homeless home and a refuge for battered women will fall away if it is not
kept somewhere, needs another forum as wellas the Barry Hertzog properties
    at the extreme south end.

Thanks for a useful and lively process, we really appreciate it.
