An application has been made to rezone the three stands on Barry Hertzog Avenue north of Greenhill Road (opposite the Emmarentia Library) and to build a garage and Drive-Thru restaurant on the combined site.

A similar application was made several years ago but was withdrawn after many objections from Greenside and Emmarentia residents.

The Greenside and Emmarentia Residents Associations have been meeting to discuss this development and plan a response from the residents of the area.
