Check your contract with your security company. How much do you pay for security each month? When does your contract come up for renewal? Don't extend the contract for another long period. Keep it on a monthly basis until the new security solution is underway.

- Volunteer to join the security committee.
- Let us know if you've been a victim of crime in this community.
- Discuss this security plan with your neighbours.

The Emmarentia and Greenside residents associations are calling on owners of buildings to donate office space for the area security offices.
The Security Committee has been set up to oversee the selection of a suitable service provider. Terms of Reference have been drawn up and service providers have been invited to submit proposals. A short list will be selected from those who submit proposals, and these companies will be invited to tender for security services for our suburbs.
The Security Committee includes the following interested stakeholders:
