Melville Koppies will be open to all entrants on ERA's Birding Fun Day so you can add some extra birds to your list.

We have a limited supply of John Bunning’s book, The birds of the Botanical Gardens, Emmarentia Dam and the Melville Koppies, Johannesburg (1998) for sale at R35 each. John gives a brief, very readable history of the area and information about bird ringing. He ringed birds at Melville Koppies for 24 years. Over 200 birds and their habits/habitats are described. The Koppies will be open on the 4th November from 6:00 to 12:00, specifically to do a count of the birds, so Bunning’s book will be very useful.
The book will be on sale on Melville Koppies open days.
